Start with a clear scan, or try the scanned-label PDF on the Samples page. You can crop and print it without text recognition. If you choose OCR, its reading files download the first time you use it.
1. Open the scanned label
Add your PDF or image to the label tool. In a scan, the words may be part of a picture, so you cannot select or copy them as text. You can still crop the page and print the label.
2. Adjust the crop
Drag the region or use the measurement fields. Keep the required label text and the blank space around the barcode. Select labels as the page’s destination.
3. Run OCR only if you need it
Open Optional local English OCR and text inspection. Tick the box to allow the reading files to load, then choose Run OCR on this page. It tries to read the words on your device. Compare the result with the original, especially similar characters such as O and 0. It does not check the postage or read the barcode.
4. Review the print quality
Choose the paper size and check the preview. Increasing output resolution cannot restore detail missing from a blurry source. Download a test copy and check the print before using a batch.
